For a planted tank we suggest approx 5cm depth

To see how much gravel you may need, measure your Aquarium in centimeters, Length x width x desired depth and divide this by 1000, this will equal the weight you will need in kilos.

Simply rinse before adding to your Aquarium, spread substrate and spread accross the base of your Aqaurium and begin to fill the tank slowly.

When planning a planted Aquarium, we suggest adding in some Oliverknott AquaEarth or your prefferred Aquarium fertiliser in layers with this gravel.
