They are quite peaceful and do well with other peaceful smaller species of fish. Best kept in a planted aquarium to get them to bring out their striking turquoise stripes.Temperature: between 20 – 24 °C. pH: 7.0 – 8.0. This species will not do well in acidic water. Hardness: 215 – 350 ppm
