Hi there! Are they algae eater ? Are they breeding in freshwater aquarium tank? Can I keep them with discus fish? Which fish should not be kept with them Thank you
The Gold Mystery Snails (Pomacea Diffusa) are bred in captivity. They clean up after your fish and they also eat algae. They don't eat your Aquarium plants but will eat decomposing plant leaves and any type of fish food. They mix well with Tropical fish, but large cichlids and Clown loaches are known to kill them. Also, they should not be kept with bristlenose, tandanus and eel-tail catfish or goldfish.
Yes they can do, just keep in mind the Mystery snails are not a coldwater snail, so if your tank is not heated then they may not survive the winter temps.
